Location & Timeline
Dig World, the innovative construction-themed adventure park, is opening its second Texas location at Grapevine Mills mall (southwest corner by Entry 1) in
early 2026 — likely springtime.
What is It?
Visitors of all ages will be able to climb aboard
real, full-size construction equipment—bulldozers, excavators, mini loaders—that’s been modified to operate safely under professional supervision. It's an immersive space where both kids and adults can literally dig in and operate the machinery themselves.
Dude Perfect Joins the Fun
Partners at this new location include the Frisco-based YouTube legends
Dude Perfect, who are bringing construction-themed trick-shot challenges and interactive games to the park. Co‑Founder Cody Jones promises it's "just the beginning" of unique experiences that blend precision, creativity, and family fun.
From Shark Tank to North Texas
This venture started with a heartfelt pitch on Shark Tank, where Dig World’s co-founder Jacob Robinson shared his personal story: inspired by his son Pierce, who has special needs and a passion for heavy machinery after a battle with bacterial meningitis. Shark and investor Robert Herjavec called it “going to be huge” and signed on.
Joining Grapevine Mills’ Entertainment Boom
Grapevine Mills is fast becoming more than a shopping mall—it’s a top-ten mall in America thanks to immersive attractions like Meow Wolf, LEGOLAND Discovery Center, and The Escape Game. Dig World will fit right in, adding a hands-on, physically engaging twist to the experience.
Joe Szymaszek, the mall’s general manager, says:
“Grapevine Mills has become a premier destination for immersive entertainment… We’re thrilled to welcome Dig World… bringing a whole new level of hands‑on, family‑friendly fun.”
What to Expect
- Operate actual machinery: Excavators, dump trucks, loaders—all reengineered for safe family use
- Trick‑shot zones: Inspired by Dude Perfect’s flair, these add-on challenges will test creativity and coordination
- Photo‑ops galore: Snap action-packed shots—kids digging, parents piloting—thanks to cool yellow equipment and a lively environment
Why It Matters
- Educational and engaging: Combines mechanical skills, coordination, and imaginative play
- Accessible: Open to ages 2–82 (yes, adults too!)
- Expansion potential: Dig World plans to franchise nationwide, riding the momentum from the Shark Tank investment and partnership buzz.
